At the end of June the Carolinas Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association held their summer meeting in Myrtle Beach, SC.听 Since 1965 they鈥檝e awarded their highest honor, the Gordon M. Water Distinguished Service Award, to one individual each year.听 This year our North Carolina sales representative, Ed Benson, received the award.

听鈥淢r. Gordon M. Waters helped organize the Carolinas Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractor Association in 1943, and served as the first President of the association.听听 In his honor, CRSMCA has dedicated this as the highest honor awarded to a CRSMCA member for their dedication and service听to this association,听the roofing industry, and听the听community听in general.鈥�
